Philip S. International Airport W. Goldson



The Philip SW Goldson International Airport is situated in the City of Belize. It was named in honor of the politician died Phillip Stanley Wilberforce Goldson. The airport is undergoing expansion, as the extension of the runway, expanding the platform and the expansion of the terminal. These increases are mainly to be able to operate more aircraft and hold flights from Europe. It is planned that the works finish at 2015.

Philip SW Goldson is 5 meters above sea level and also is considerate the largest and busiest in the country.

Philip SW Goldson International Airport

Belize City is the center of the country, with transport and boats going in all directions. The domestics flights out of the municipal airport and the International Airport is only 30 minutes outside the city, it's located on the East Coast of the country and is the starting point to explore Belize, this is the main center and the entry point for most tourist that arrive by plane or in cruise. Belize International Airport is named Philip SW Goldson.
